Gowrie Farm golf course and 9 hole golf course at Nottingham Road in the KZN Midlands, which has been built in the classic style with tees close to the ground, gently undulating fairways and push-up greens, with swales and chipping areas surrounding the greens.  The quality of the course has been dictated primarily by the greens, rather than artificial hazards. Dams allow for two exciting water hazards. The course has the feel of an inland links course and, while it is testing for the good players, it is also enjoyable for the average golfer.   Gowrie Farm is a par 70 - 9-hole course which has two additional holes. As a result, this gives the course variety and interest and the golfer has the feel of playing 18 holes rather than 9 holes.
