Gowrie Ladies division hosted our annual 2 day golf festival on the 8th and 9th of March. This year was themed March Masquerade and the Ladies didn’t disappoint with feathers, diamonds, glitz and glamour, the order of the day.
We were pleased to welcome our President for Kzn ladies golf association, Sue Rohwer to the festival. Gowrie hosted a full field of 60 players with the following Clubs represented:

What a turnout!
The weather was fantastic and the entertainment even better. Our sponsors didn’t disappoint, with a hole in one at the 8th and prize money of R50 000.00 up for grabs. Not to mention the gin bar, champagne and wine tasting! Sadly nobody capitalized on this opportunity. Next year we try again! The proceeds of the entries to the hole in one will be donated to the SPCA. What a wonderful fundraising opportunity!

It’s been a busy time with our club champs held this month as well. Congratulations to Noogs Spall for winning the silver division and Chantel Janks, the bronze division, with Pat the runner up. Thanks to all the staff at Gowrie for your support at the festival and the club champs. We certainly put our best foot forward!
