Our Gowrie Ladies have had another fun-filled month. We played in the VCC Open Day, with Michelle and Lauraine taking fifth place in the competition, and Pat, Wilna, Daryl, and Deidre walking off with the prize for best-dressed! Well done, ladies!

Our league match was rather tough this month, but the ladies flew the Gowrie flag high and enjoyed the day. Twelve ladies represented Gowrie at the Nel Hean Golf Day held at Boschoek this year. The format was Greensomes, which is more challenging than you would expect. It’s one way to test a friendship for sure! A wonderful turnout from the ladies supporting a good cause. Well done to Wilna for her nearest the pin! A near hole-in-one. Next time, Wilna!
Thank you to Deidre for hosting the Senior Ladies tournament at Gowrie. The turnout was excellent, and the ladies enjoyed a fun-filled day with pizzas afterwards sponsored by the Gowrie Ladies Golf Division. Thank you, Gowrie Ladies.

Free golf clinics will be held with Phil Simmons on the first Tuesday of every month starting on the 4th of July 2023. Be sure not to miss out on this!
Gowrie Ladies will host the Graeme Browne Trophy on the 9th of August 2023. This is a mixed tournament held on a public holiday. We look forward to your support. Details to follow soon. Hope to see you there!
