The quality of the greens has adversely affected Tuesday golf, especially with the cold snap during August. All members are looking forward to the situation returning to normal in the spring. The last two weeks in August Numzaans have played off-site due to course closure. Congrats to Jimmy Forbes winning our trophy for the month of August (Pictured below with Captain George Clark). Despite the inclement weather Jimmy held off the competition to finish strong. The John Page Memorial golf day was a huge success and well supported by the members. Congrats to Piet Pelser four ball who won the magnificent trophy. Numzaans biannual challenge against Khehle’s is at Bosch Hoek on Tuesday 24 th October, kindly save the date. Numzaans won the inaugural day with 447 better ball points versus Khlehle’s 446. The return match is going to be a cracker!
