ABOUT THE ACADEMY
Golf development remains an important part of what we do. Whether you're new to the game or looking to improve your skills, our coaching programmes offer a welcoming place to learn, practise and grow.
At the Gowrie Farm Golf Academy, coaching goes beyond technique - it’s about building a complete, lifelong game. Led by Master PGA Professional and DP World Tour Coach Martin Whitcher, the Academy offers personalised coaching in a countryside setting that reflects the heritage of the sport.
With years of experience coaching at the highest level, Martin delivers world-class instruction in a calm, focused environment where players of all ages and abilities can grow with purpose.
Group coaching takes place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with private lessons also available. Juniors and beginners are warmly welcome.

INDIVIDUAL LESSONS:
R800 pp/hr
GROUP LESSONS / CORPORATE CLINICS
2 people - R600 pp/hr
3+ people - R400 pp/hr
ACADEMY PROGRAMMES (min. 3-month commitment)
COMPETENCY | 1 day (2 hrs) per week - R1950 pm
GOLF FOR LIFE | 2 days (4 hrs) per week - R3500 pm
GO PRO | 5 days (10 hrs) per week - R5000 pm
COACHING RETREATS
2 DAY RETREAT | 1 night B&B, 2 days coaching, 18 holes - R4000 pp
5 DAY RETREAT | 4 nights B&B, 5 days coaching, 45 holes - R10,000 pp
