Captain's Letter

Dear Members,

As Captain of Gowrie Farm Golf Club, I would like to wish you and your families a very happy and healthy New Year, and extend a warm welcome as we look ahead to another exciting year of golf together.

Looking Ahead to the Year

This coming year promises to be a positive one for the Club, with developments both on and off the course. Our greens team have been working hard to improve playing surfaces and enhance course presentation, and you’ll notice ongoing work aimed at making the course both more enjoyable and more challenging in the right places. Your patience and support during any necessary maintenance is very much appreciated.

Welcoming New Members

Off the course, we are pleased to welcome new members to Gowrie Farm. Whether you are completely new to golf or a long-standing player joining us from another club, we are delighted to have you with us. I encourage all existing members to extend a friendly greeting on the course and in the clubhouse, and to help our new members quickly feel part of the Gowrie Farm community.

Support from the Pro Shop Team

We are also delighted to welcome new staff in the Pro Shop. They will be on hand to help with equipment, tuition, and advice, and I hope you will get to know them over the coming weeks. Their knowledge and enthusiasm will be a great asset to members and visitors alike.

Getting Involved

Throughout the year there will be a full calendar of competitions, social events, and team fixtures. I encourage you to take part as much as you can—whether in competitive golf, social golf, or simply enjoying time with friends in the clubhouse. Your involvement is what keeps the Club vibrant and welcoming.

A Personal Note

On a personal note, it is an honour to serve as your Captain. I look forward to meeting and playing with as many of you as possible over the coming year, and to sharing in another year of good golf, good company, and continued progress for Gowrie Farm Golf Club.
