PHOTO COMPETITION

Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course is running a Competition (“the Competition”) where one customer stands a chance of winning a 2 night stay and play for 2 people at Gowrie Farm Lodge and Golf Course (“the Prize”) when participating in the Competition. By your participation, you agree that these Terms and Conditions will govern all aspects of your relationship with the Competition and competition-related agents. These Terms and Conditions can only be modified by Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course based on the sole discretion of the company.

Duration, Winner Selection & Notification:

• The competition opened on 31 August 2024
• The competition closes on 15 March 2025.. The duration of the Competition may be extended at the discretion of Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course.
• The winner selection and notification will take place on 20 March 2025.
• The winner will be selected by Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course as the most unique photo that captures the essence of Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course.
• To be eligible to claim the Prize, winners must be contactable and respond within two (2) days from the date of receipt of correspondence from the Promoter. Failure to respond within the stipulated timeframe will result in the Prize being forfeited by the prize winner. In such an event, the Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternative winner.
• Unless expressly stated within these Terms and Conditions, all other expenses incidental to the enjoyment of the Prize is the responsibility of the winner. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize excludes transport and all drinks and meals at Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course.
• The winner agrees to comply with such Terms and Conditions in connection with the winner's enjoyment of the Prize.

Valid Entry:

• There is no entry fee to enter this Competition.
• The competition is open to all participants who reside in South Africa.
• In order to stand a chance of winning, participants should follow the instructions provided as below:
• Share the photo to your Instagram or Facebook social media profile, tag us (@gowriefarm) and use the hashtag #CaptureGowrieFarm
• You could also DM us your photo on Facebook or Instagram
• If you would prefer to email your photo please do so at brand@gowriefarm.co.za
• By entering into the Competition, the participant acknowledges that he/she has been given an appropriate opportunity to first read the Terms and Conditions of the Competition before entering and that he/she understands and hereby agrees to the Terms and Conditions.

Prize:

• The following prize is available: a 2 night stay and play for 2 people at Gowrie Farm Lodge and Golf Course
• The Prize is not transferable, assignable, or refundable and cannot be substituted for cash.
• The Prize must be accepted as awarded.
• Prize will be limited to one winner.
• Claiming of The Prize expires on 15 November 2025.

Eligibility:
Directors, members, partners, employees (including their friends and family members), agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course or marketing service providers in respect of the Competition, or the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members, are not eligible to participate in the Competition. Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify your entry if it concludes that: a) you have submitted a fraudulent entry, or, b) you have acted in violation of the Terms and Conditions of the Competition. The decision of Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course shall be final and binding in all respects and you agree to be bound by the same.

Limitations of Liability:
By taking part in the Competition, the participant agrees to release Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and their respective employees, agents, and representatives (collectively referred to as “the Entities") from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, losses, death that may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize or with participation in the Competition. By taking part in the Competition, you agree that no claim relating to such injuries, damages, losses or death shall be asserted against any of the Entities.

Personal Information:
Any personal data relating to the Winner or any other Participants will be used solely in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Information Act, 4 of 2013 and will not be disclosed to a third party without the Participant’s prior consent.
The Participant by taking part in the Competition consents to his/her personal information to be shared with the Promoter’s employees, contractors or agents for the purpose of this Promotional Competition and for the purpose of sharing future promotions.

Rights of Publicity:
By participating in the Competition, the Winner hereby accepts that the Winner will be asked to take part in further publicity in relation to the Competition, with the Winner’s permission, the Promoter may incorporate the Winner in a publicity campaign, broadcast or allow their names, biographical information and any statement the winner makes in connection with the Competition or about Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course to be used for advertising and promotional purposes aligned with the business, including but not limited to posting photo’s on Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course’s website and social media pages.

General Conditions:

• Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course reserve the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions of the Competition, including the substitution of a prize, which will become effective upon announcement.
• If for any reason the Competition is not capable of being conducted as described in these Terms and Conditions, Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.
• No member of Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course is responsible for lost, delayed, misdirect, internet or computer malfunctions, errors in transmission or any condition beyond the control of Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.
• Gowrie Farm Lodge & Golf Course’s decision in respect of all matters pertaining to the competition will be final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
