Brandon Stone Joins Gowrie Farm
Brandon Stone Joins Gowrie Farm Golf Club
We are proud to welcome Brandon Stone to Gowrie Farm Golf Club as a member.
Brandon enjoyed an outstanding amateur career, representing South Africa at the highest levels of the sport. He played on the Eisenhower Trophy team in 2012, making his mark early on the international stage, and went on to represent his country at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
After turning professional in 2013, Brandon quickly established himself on the world stage. He captured his maiden professional title at the Sunshine Tour’s Lion of Africa Cape Town Open in 2015 and followed it up with a breakthrough win at the 2016 South African Open, co-sanctioned with the European Tour.
Stone’s most notable professional victory came at the prestigious 2018 Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open (a Rolex Series event on the European Tour), where he delivered a stunning final-round 60, narrowly missing becoming the first player to shoot 59 in European Tour history.
Across his career, Brandon has been a consistent performer on both the DP World Tour and Sunshine Tour, earning multiple professional victories and representing South Africa with professionalism, dedication, and sportsmanship that reflect the very best of the game.
It is a privilege to have a golfer of Brandon’s calibre join our community. We look forward to welcoming him and his family to enjoy the course, facilities, and fellowship that make Gowrie Farm so special.
