Jordan Davies plays a round with Gary Player

A big congratulations to Jordan Davies, a member at Gowrie Farm Golf Club, on his outstanding performances in recent South Coast competitions, where he finished either first or second in every event.

Earlier in December, Jordan also had the privilege of playing a round with Gary Player, widely regarded as South Africa’s greatest-ever sportsman. The round took place at Goose Valley and proved to be a truly memorable occasion for everyone involved.

Both Jordan and Mr Player shot a remarkable 75 — an incredible achievement, particularly considering that Mr Player is 90 years old and Jordan just 11. As seen in the photographs from the day, Mr Player was a wonderful host and clearly enjoyed watching one of South Africa’s young rising talents in action.

Well done, Jords. We hope this was an unforgettable experience and one that stays with you for years to come. We are extremely proud to watch your journey unfold and look forward to seeing what the future holds.
