Refining the Greens: Course Updates on Holes 4–7

The on-course golf experience at Gowrie Farm continues to evolve through considered refinements that enhance playability while remaining true to the course’s design intent. Recent updates to the green complexes on holes 4 to 7 reflect this ongoing commitment.

An Evolving Course by Design

Inspired by some of the greatest golf course designers in the world, Guy Smith, designer of Gowrie Farm, views the course as an ever-evolving artwork. As the course matured during its first two years as a full 18-hole layout, opportunities were identified to refine the green complexes on the new nine — particularly on holes 4 to 7.

Improving Playability and Pin Placement

Historically small and heavily contoured, these greens have now been subtly extended to allow for a greater variety of pin positions. The result is increased usable green surface, improved approach options, and enhanced playability for golfers of all levels.

A Links-Inspired Playing Experience

Inspired by traditional Scottish courses, Gowrie Farm is currently playing exceptionally well — with lush fairways, fast extended greens and grass-bordered bunkers combining to create a distinctive and rewarding golfing experience.
